On 10 September 2026, Vision + Robotics at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) will open its doors once again. During the Vision + Robotics Parcours, up to 150 participants will be given a guided tour of the campus.

Visitors will walk past various sensor labs and robot set-ups. Previous editions were fully booked quickly.

The event is aimed at the agri-food tech sector and end-users. The aim is to bring everyone up to speed on the latest developments in agri-food tech.

After a short joint kick-off, you will visit 8 themed stations. The central theme across all stations is the use of AI in software generation, image processing, simulation, robot training, remote services and post-implementation training at the end-user’s site.

Parcours program

  1. Outdoor crops | monitoring, as applied data handling, machine task and route planning and biodiversity capture
  2. Simulation | real to sim and physical AI training in simulation
  3. Open Fields Machinery | sim to real, AI controlled machines, harvesters and implements
  4. Horticultural robotics | live demo’s (live remote and on sight), securing the AI pipeline
  5. Food robotics | fish robotics, sorting, fresh food and waste stream handling hygenic and food climate controlled
  6. Livestock | animal monitoring, behaviour and multi robots and machine handling on farm premises
  7. Sensors | progress om spectral, 3D, Raman, Perception AI and reinforment learning
  8. Actuators | a selection of novel grippers and perception fused calibration, gripping and motion
