What happens after the 30-minute consultation?
The outcome of the 30-minute online consultation may be a referral to a WUR expert or another relevant organization within the agrifood ecosystem. It may also result in an invitation to continue the conversation through a TEF Light session.
A TEF Light session is a 3-hour, no-obligation deep dive at one of our Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEFs) with the expert or experts best suited to your challenge. During the session, we explore your innovation in more detail, discuss opportunities and bottlenecks, and may perform exploratory measurements, test simulations, or other practical assessments where appropriate.
The fee for a TEF Light session is €500 for a 3-hour session with one expert and €1,000 for a session involving two experts or a full-day engagement. While this is not a research project, it is an in-depth and focused exploration designed to help you assess the potential value of further collaboration, whether through a TEF service or a tailor-made project.
